Being in a nearly perfect relationship with a beautiful partner has made me realize how lucky I actually am.
The day before yesterday was my birthday, on 1st September, but I didn’t feel any excitement or enthusiasm. This birthday was different. I’ve turned 22 now, and there’s a sudden realization that hits you when you turn 22. Maybe not for you guys, but for me, it definitely did.
In the middle of college stress, career stress, and the feeling of constant responsibility—all at the same time, when you’re trying to put your life together—everywhere you look, it’s hard to compete. It’s a constant race. It’s suffocating.
And because of all this, I wasn’t feeling good.
And yes, I agree, I’ve been escaping life a lot. Maybe I have. But here and there, I keep coming back to it.
I actually did start working on things, but there were a lot of demotivating factors and setbacks. Still, after all of this, I felt special because I realized there are so many real people who genuinely love me.
I have no friends. I lost the ones who were very close to me—the ones who betrayed me. And honestly, out here, people are not good. People are really not good. It’s different, guys. Different from what you think.
Money is the only friend. 💀
Everyone here is just trying to live their life, and they would do almost anything to achieve what they want. But even then, you find two or three people who genuinely wish good things for you. At least, you can hope so. 😂
But among all those birthday wishes, I also got to see a lot of formalities—the kind of formalities I myself used to make in the past.
And among the people who genuinely love me are my partner, Ayushi, my sisters, and my parents.
They all wanted me to feel special.
But this blog is a BIG shoutout to my partner because today I received her gift.
A beautiful shirt, a bucket full of small treats and surprises, and a box containing 27 small letters. And along with the shirt, there was a full-length letter of around 350–450 words.
That really made me feel like I had already received the best gift of my life.
Now, I’m going to be a little buttery and cringe, guys, because I know my queen will be reading this, and if I even slip up a little, there will be very bad consequences. 😭
So, as I was saying…
She really did make me feel special and loved. She is someone who trusts me even at my worst. And honestly, I’m not doing very well in life right now. I’ve been escaping too much, and I genuinely wish I wasn’t.
Coming back to the gifts—she also has four more gifts reserved for me, which she wasn’t able to send because of some challenges that came up during the shipping process.
And apparently, she has also got me some very crazy philosophical books, which I’m VERY much looking forward to reading.
So maybe I haven’t written much about my queen before (very angry person 😒), but I must say that just after she entered my life, my life changed so much.
I’ve felt happiness after a very long time.
Thank you for everything, ma’am. ❤️
A BIG, BIG, VERY, VERY BIG shoutout to you.
The Best Girlfriend Award goes to you. 🏆❤️
— Your annoying boyfriend, probably. 😂
